Developed by expert healthcare professionals, this six part series is designed to ask difficult, thought-provoking questions as we seek the truth found in God’s Word about the ethical issues facing Christians today.
Session Topics:
The mission of Faith Prescriptions is to equip Christian healthcare professionals to communicate the love of Christ, in word and in deed, to our patients, students and colleagues. What does this look like each day as we practice? How does the love of Christ motivate us to do our very best for our patients? How can we encourage our patients to confide in us regarding their spiritual needs? How do we verbally communicate the power of the Gospel with sensitivity and respect? Many doctors from across the country will be sharing what the Lord has taught them regarding these and many other pertinent topics.
As a courtesy, we have the first video of Faith Prescriptions available for you to preview for FREE if you are not a CMDA member.
Click here to go to the free preview.
Note: If you don't have an account already, you will need to create a CMDA account when prompted.
To get any of the courses in the series, please follow the steps to "purchase" the preview and each course, but for members the price is $0.00.
If you are a Christian healthcare professional, The CMDA Center for Well-Being is for YOU! You pour yourself out for others every day…this is a place to be refilled! We want to help you align with God, optimize your well-being and maximize your influence. We want to help you find the “sweet spot” of life again, to help you find or regain what the Bible calls “Shalom.”
One of the most common reasons healthcare professionals give for not joining or renewing their membership is that they do not have time to be involved.
Contact us if you wish to serve as a mentor or host a dinner fellowship with medical and dental students & residents.

The reason AAPLOG exists is to encourage and equip its members and other concerned medical practitioners to provide an evidence-based rationale for defending the lives of both the pregnant mother and her unborn child.
The American College of Pediatricians promotes a society where all children, from the moment of their conception, are valued unselfishly. We encourage mothers, fathers and families to advance the needs of their children above their own. We expect societal forces to support the two-parent, father-mother family unit and provide for children role models of ethical character and responsible behavior.
PURPOSE
Physicians for Compassionate Care is an association of physicians and other health professionals dedicated to preserving the traditional relation of the physician and patient as one in which the physician's primary task is to heal when possible, comfort always, and never intentionally harm.
The association promotes the health and well being of patients by encouraging physicians to comfort patients and to assist those who are dying by support systems, minimizing pain, and treating depression. The association affirms the health restoring role of the physician and works to educate the profession and the public to the dangers of euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide. As physicians, we come from primary care specialties as well as subspecialties. We work to support each other and to speak out for the inherent value of human life.
PCCEF Position on the Duty and Role of Physicians
Physicians have the duty to safeguard human life, especially life of the most vulnerable: the sick, elderly, disabled, poor, ethnic minorities, and those whom society may consider the most unproductive and burdensome. Physicians are to use all knowledge, skills and compassion in caring for and supporting the patient. Medicine and physicians are not to intentionally cause death. The patient-physician trusting relationship is the most important asset of physicians and is for the protection of patients.
